A domain name is a text name (for example bluesoap.com.au) which provides a more memorable name to stand in for the numeric IP address of a web address. Domain Name Registration
Domain name registration is the process of registering a unique domain name to an individual, company or organisation. Domain names can be registered for a particular period of time during which you are entitled to use it for the period of registration.
Domain Name Transfer
A domain transfer is the process of moving a domain name from one domain name registrar to another. If you transfer your domain name that is held elsewhere to BlueSoap, it will appear in your BlueSoap Control Panel and allow for easy management and renewal.
This is the lengthening the period of registration for a domain name. Your domain name registration period will eventually expire and if you do not renew the registration it will be deleted from the registry database or registered by another individual. To prevent this from happening, the domain must be renewed. You can set your domain names to auto-renew in your BlueSoap Control Panel.
This is website content which is duplicate due to copying. Search engines are sticky about websites that do not contain original content and your web site ranking may be adversely affected if you do not have original relevant content.
Short for Electronic Mail – These are messages sent from one source to another via an internet connection.
The automatic transfer (auto-forwarding) of emails sent to an email address to another specified email address.

File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

Internet Protocol Address - Every computer connected to the internet is allocated a unique IP address. Also, some websites and servers have their own unique IP addresses. However, most web hosting companies host multiple websites on a single host.
Keyword (also keyword phrase)
Descriptive word or combination of words that specifically describes the products or services featured on a web page. Website users or their SEO Company use these words as part of their Search Engine Optimisation and link building strategy in order to improve ranking of their website in search queries. Very specific keywords or very generic keywords may be entered as a search query.

Page Hits / Page View
Website Statistics show the page hits and page views which allow the website owner to see visitor data. A page hit represents a request to your website of files such an image, video, or script. A page view is the request by a visitor of a file on your website that is considered to be a complete page. POP3 (also known as Post Office Protocol) is an email method by which emails are sent and received. BlueSoap POP3 mailboxes allow you to send and receive emails either via your Webmail or using an email program such as Microsoft Outlook or Mac Mail. With a POP3 mailbox, your emails are received and stored on a remote mail server until you view them. You can view your emails either buy Webmail using your internet browser, or by your email program downloading them to your computer.

URL - Uniform Resource Locator
The unique web address of any web site page or document such as a page in your website.
